Erasmus+ National Agency Statement regarding the spread of coronavirus (2019-nCoV)

by

Following the guidance of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic in relation to the spread of coronavirus (2019-nCoV), the National Agency issues the following statement:

On the basis of this Guideline of 9 March 2020, "all tours, excursions and study visits abroad for pupils and students" are canceled with immediate effect. This also applies to school staff. For this reason, the Erasmus + National Agency will apply a force majeure institute for those projects that are planning mobilities or activities during the period of this Guideline.

However, the National Agency still recommends that you:

- adequately manage the project activities and take all precautionary measures to minimize the negative impact on the project implementation (eg communicate with the partner organization on the guideline, change the planned mobilities and project activities, etc.),

- inform the National Agency of any changes to the project (eg change of timetable, including a request to change the duration of the contract),

- keep all supporting documentation necessary to demonstrate the costs already incurred.

The National Agency is always ready to provide you with information and advice on how to proceed in individual cases.

However, please note that the National Agency has no competence to comment on the degree of risk of contagion or threat in particular countries. You can find this information at:
