Erasmus Mundus 2009-2013 is an EU programme, which promotes academic cooperation among universities in EU countries and in the rest of the world by promoting joint study programs at the master's and doctoral level of study and by creating networks of cooperating universities. Mobility of students and university staff are supported by providing scholarships for European and non-European students and university staff.

TIMUR 2013-2017

Training of Individuals through mobility from Uzbek Republic to EU

The TIMUR project is an Erasmus Mundus Action 2 Partnership coordinated by Wageningen university, The Netherlands, with partners from EU and Uzbekistan. The project aims at fostering structured cooperation between European and Uzbek higher education institutions, to improve the networking and to promote knowledge exchange between the public and private sectors as well as between industry and research.

The TIMUR project offers mobility at all level of studies for students (undergraduate and master), doctoral candidates, researchers (post-doctorates), academic and administrative staff.
 
145 fellowships are available for candidates from Uzbekistan to Europe within the framework TIMUR grant from July 2013 till June 2017.

is a continuation and extension of a successfull Erasmus Mundus Action 2 partnership of universities Eranet Mundus coordinated by  University of Barcelona with new partner universities in EU and Russia. SUA in Nitra is welcome exchange students and staff from partner (TG1 applicants) and non-partner universities (TG2 applicants) in Russia.

Central Asia Student International Academic exchange with EU

The CASIA project is a European project realized in the framework of the Erasmus Mundus Action 2 Partnership.
