Students can now use the new SUA Chill zone, which is located in the main building under the assembly hall. The SUA Rector Klaudia Halászová ceremoniously cut the ribbon.

A total of 131 students presented the results of their scientific work at the traditional University Day of Student Scientific Activity, which took place on April 22 at the SUA in Nitra.

Marián Brestič and Marek Živčák from the Institute of Plant and Environmental Sciences FAFR SUA in Nitra were ranked best in the ranking of leading world scientists by Research.com in the field of Plant and Agronomic Sciences among Slovak experts. The Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra thus reached the 245th position in the world in this scientific field.

A fresh SUA PhD student Terézia Hegerová helped save a rare peregrine falcon in Iceland. His left wing was injured and his joint was damaged.

Activated water has a positive effect on germination, growth, production and quality of plant biomass. This follows from the first verification results of research carried out by a research team from the Institute of Plant and Environmental Sciences and the Institute of Agronomic Sciences at the Faculty of Agrobiology and Food Resources of the SUA in Nitra.
