Slovak President awarded State Honors. Vladimír Dedeček was awarded the Pribina Cross II. Class

On January 7, the Slovak President Andrej Kiska awarded by the State Honours  15 personalities on the occasion of national holiday - Day of the Formation of the Slovak Republic. Pribina Cross II. Class for many years of outstanding merits in the culture development of the Slovak Republic in the sphere of architecture was received by Vladimír Dedeček. He was the mail architect of the Slovak University of Agriculture complex in Nitra.

On December 17, at the Faculty of European Studies and Regional Development the elections for the candidate for a Dean were held.

Top student personality of Slovakia is Jakub Berčík from FEM. Award was also won by Lenka Kuželová from FBFS

Eleven talented researches who work at Slovak universities or research institutes of the SAS received the award Student Personality of Slovakia on December 14.

Rector of SUA on a working visit in Sofia

Delegation led by the President of  the SR Andrej Kiska attended an official visit to the Republic of Bulgaria on December 10-11. The delegation members were also the representatives of the academia and business including the Rector of the SUA Dr. h.c. Prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD.

H.E. Ambassador of Georgia visited SUA

On December 1,  H.E. Ambassador of the Republic of Georgia to the Slovak Republic Alexander Nalbandov  and the Commercial Counsellor of the Republic of Georgia in Slovakia Mikheil Chkhikvadze discussed with the SUA Rector Dr.h.c. Prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD., the development of cooperation in the field of education.
