Students of SUA will attend a study course at Louisiana State University. What are their expectations?

They are self-confident and they are not scared of new challenges. The group of 13 students of the SUA in Nitra will attend the intensive short-term study programme at Louisiana State University in the USA from 5th till 18th of February, 2015. This programme is feasible due to a bilateral agreement between both institutions. Some of the participants have shared their expectations with us.

The Rector of the SUA negotiated with the Slovak Ambassador to Brazil – Milan Cigáň

The Rector SPU Dr.h.c. prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD., welcomed the Ambassador of SR to Brazil Milan Cigáň on December 16, 2014. The main objective of the negotiation was to discuss the mechanism of an action, and the possibilities of starting up and creating the conditions for a cooperation with the Brazilian universities and research institutions within the “Science without Borders” programme initiated and fully paid by the Brazilian federal government since 2011.

SUA has signed two agreements about the cooperation with Szent István University in Gödöllő

On December 11, 2014, at SUA in Nitra the management of Szent István University in Gödöllő led by the Rector prof. János Tőzsér, Vice – Rector for Science prof. Péter Gálfih and the Dean of Technical faculty and Department of International Relations prof. István Szabó  met with the management of SUA led by the Rector Dr.h.c. prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD.

Singer Pavol Hammel performed at the Christmas concert of the SUA

The traditional gala beneficial concert “Christmas gift of the SUA“ took place in  the SUA assembly hall on December 11,2014. The beautifully decorated auditorium dominates the whole complex of the SUA and this year it has been declared the national cultural monument.

Meeting with representatives of Tianjin University has brought new impulses for a cooperation

On December 12, 2014, SUA in Nitra was visited by the representatives of Tianjin University (TU) in China - Li Qingfeng from the School of International Education and Yang Fuling – the director of the Department for International Cooperation of TJU, led by prof. Hu Wenping, the Assistant President of the University and the Dean of the School of Science.  The management of SUA together with the Rector  Dr.h.c. prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD welcomed our Chinese partners.
