The Alliance of European Universities INVEST, whose partner is the Slovak Agricultural University in Nitra as the only university in Slovakia, published in April 2023 the third Newsletter in a row, which provides all important information about the activities of this alliance, the main idea of which is to strengthen the connection between teaching, research and innovations.

Students can now use the new SUA Chill zone, which is located in the main building under the assembly hall. The SUA Rector Klaudia Halászová ceremoniously cut the ribbon.

A total of 131 students presented the results of their scientific work at the traditional University Day of Student Scientific Activity, which took place on April 22 at the SUA in Nitra.

Marián Brestič and Marek Živčák from the Institute of Plant and Environmental Sciences FAFR SUA in Nitra were ranked best in the ranking of leading world scientists by Research.com in the field of Plant and Agronomic Sciences among Slovak experts. The Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra thus reached the 245th position in the world in this scientific field.

A fresh SUA PhD student Terézia Hegerová helped save a rare peregrine falcon in Iceland. His left wing was injured and his joint was damaged.
