Brazilian experts are interested in cooperation with SUA

On December 9, the representatives of  the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco in Brazil -prof. Leucio Alves a prof. Anísio Soares visited SUA in Nitra. Honourable guests were welcomed by Rector of SUA Dr.h.c. prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD., Vice-rector for Education and ECTS prof. RNDr. Zdenka Gálová, CSc., Vice-rector for Science and Research prof. Ing. Ján Gaduš, PhD., and the Head of Foreign Relations and International Projects Office, Mgr. Vladislav Valach.

ARRA evaluation results

Academic Ranking and Rating Agency (ARRA) submitted already the tenth evaluation of faculties of Slovak universities in November. It was based on publicly available and verifiable data about the quality of education and research of particular faculties for the year 2013.

An important step towards deepening of the Slovak-Chinese cooperation

On Thursday of November 4, 2014 SUA in Nitra was visited by the delegation consisting of the representatives of Slovak – Chinese Chamber of Commerce (SSCC) and the representatives of Chinese province Jiangsu. The distinguished guests were welcomed at SUA by the Rector, Dr.h.c. prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD.

SUA has started a cooperation with Swiss company Midia Energy

Rector of SUA Dr.h.c. prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD., on December 3, 2014 welcomed the Chairman of Swiss Company, Norman Turner accompanied by PhDr. Radoslav Behula from Midia Energy, s.r.o., Bratislava. Also present at the meeting were the  Vice-rector for Science and Research of SUA prof. Ing. Ján Gaduš, PhD., and the Head of Foreign Relations and International Projects Office, Mgr. Vladislav Valach.

The first financial support from the agrarian research promoting OECD programme for organising a conference in the Slovakia

On 1 December 2014, the co-financing of the scientific conference at the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra was approved by the Governing Body of the OECD Co-operative Research Programme for Biological Resource Management for Sustainable Agricultural Systems (CRP). It’s the first financial support from the agrarian research promoting OECD programme for organising a scientific conference in the Slovak Republic.
