The Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra is making steady progress in the field of internationalization. Interest from international students has grown significantly, thanks in part to a successful marketing campaign that also caught the attention of industry experts.

The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) has published country fact sheets to highlight its impact at the national level. EIT Food SUA in Nitra, led by Prof. Adriana Kolesárová, Director of the AgroBioTech Research Centre, ranked among the most active institutions in Slovakia in distributing grants last year.The project is administered under the auspices of the EIT Food office and coordinated by Dr. Eva Ďurčanská.

The Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (SUA) is presenting itself at the 50th edition of the international agricultural and food exhibition Agrokomplex 2025 with modern technologies from its Creative Centre and innovative food products developed in the Food Incubator. These innovations were highly appreciated by the government delegation.

On September 3, the Rector of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (SUA), Prof. Klaudia Halászová, and the Minister of Environment, Tomáš Taraba, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The document sets a framework for future collaboration between SUA and the Ministry in several key areas.

At the turn of July and August (July 31 – August 6), Slovakia and the Czech Republic became the center of the European student landscape architecture community. A total of 37 landscape architecture students from 19 European countries visited Bratislava, Trnava, Nitra, Lednice, and Brno to participate in the meeting of the European Landscape Architecture Students Association (ELASA).
