The representatives of the University in Bila Cerkva in Ukraine proposed cooperation with SUA

On March 4, 2015 the representatives of Bila Cerkva National Agrarian University (BNAU) in Ukraine visited the SUA in Nitra – the Rector Prof. Dr. Anatolij Danylenko, the Head of the Department of International Relations of BNAU Olexander Bonkovski, the Head of the International Industrial Park in Kiev Dr. Jurij Seniuk, the First Secretary of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Slovak Republic Igor Kračkovski, the General Director of Agricultural Holdings Valentina Danylenko. They were accompanied by the consultants of the Department of Foreign Trade SARIO - Miroslava Kudelásová and Martina Babejová.

Hundreds of students interested by the business days in SUA

Successful graduates of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, currently operating on important positions in companies and businesses across the country, addressed the present students of the university and shared their experiences, achievements and insights which they obtained after the completion of their university studies.

SUA has established a cooperation with more Russian agricultural universities

On February 9, 2015, Faculty of Economics and Management of SUA opened another year of EURUS AGRI – Master's study program offering the possibility to spend one semester in Moscow. At the same time there was a meeting of representatives of the partner universities of the TEMPUS PACAGRO project – Public accreditation of agricultural study programs in Russia which coordinates the SUA in Nitra.

The Rector of SUA met with Bulgarian partners

On February 3, 2015 the Rector of SUA  Dr.h.c. prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD. received the representatives of Agrarian University in Plovdiv, Bulgaria – the Rector prof. Dr. Eng. Dimitar  Dimitrov and the Vice – Rector for Education and Foreign relations prof. Dr. Maryiana Ivanova, accompanied by the Dean of Faculty of European Studies and Regional Development (FESRD) of our university prof. JUDr. Anna Bandlerova, PhD.  The visit of the SUA was held on the occassion of the international meeting of a project which both universities have been successfully implementing since 2004.

Students of SUA will attend a study course at Louisiana State University. What are their expectations?

They are self-confident and they are not scared of new challenges. The group of 13 students of the SUA in Nitra will attend the intensive short-term study programme at Louisiana State University in the USA from 5th till 18th of February, 2015. This programme is feasible due to a bilateral agreement between both institutions. Some of the participants have shared their expectations with us.
