SUA has started a cooperation with Swiss company Midia Energy

Rector of SUA Dr.h.c. prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD., on December 3, 2014 welcomed the Chairman of Swiss Company, Norman Turner accompanied by PhDr. Radoslav Behula from Midia Energy, s.r.o., Bratislava. Also present at the meeting were the  Vice-rector for Science and Research of SUA prof. Ing. Ján Gaduš, PhD., and the Head of Foreign Relations and International Projects Office, Mgr. Vladislav Valach.

The first financial support from the agrarian research promoting OECD programme for organising a conference in the Slovakia

On 1 December 2014, the co-financing of the scientific conference at the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra was approved by the Governing Body of the OECD Co-operative Research Programme for Biological Resource Management for Sustainable Agricultural Systems (CRP). It’s the first financial support from the agrarian research promoting OECD programme for organising a scientific conference in the Slovak Republic.  

Doc. Peter Ondrišík is a new Dean of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Food Resources

The members of the academic Senate of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Food Resources of SUA at the meeting held on November 28, 2014 unanimously voted for the new Dean for term of office 2015 – 2019.

Faculty of European Studies and Regional Development has celebrated 10th anniversary

Faculty of European Studies and Regional Development, which is also the only one of its kind in Slovakia, has celebrated these days the decade of its existence as the youngest and the smallest faculty of SUA in Nitra. It was established on the basis of proposal of the management of SUA with the approval of Academic Senate of SUA in Nitra and consequently with the approval of the Ministry of Education and Accreditation Committee which entered into force on April 1, 2004.
