The programme began on February 25 with a series of lectures and workshops focused on supporting university students and employees. Key topics included work-life balance, mental and physical well-being, social connections, and professional development. Participants gained valuable insights and examples of best practices that they can implement in their own institutions. The day concluded with an outdoor networking activity, fostering professional relationships in a natural setting.

Modern Approaches to Education

The second day featured a lecture by Professor Mangiatordi on Universal Design for Learning, showcasing innovative methods to enhance teaching and learning. In the afternoon, partner universities were introduced to prospective students, followed by an insightful discussion with a Slovak student currently spending the summer semester at Karelia University.

Supporting International Students and Fostering New Business Ideas

The final day highlighted examples of best practices in student integration. A presentation on the Wellbeing and Vitality Management study programme emphasized the importance of physical and mental health in academic and professional environments. The event concluded with a showcase of business plans developed by winter school students, who presented innovative entrepreneurial ideas.
