SUA in Nitra became part of the InterHEI consortium within the framework of the EIT HEI Initiative call

The SUA will be part of a new project called The Interdisciplinary HEI Entrepreneurship Fostering Program. It aims to address the challenges by leveraging the existing innovation and entrepreneurial knowledge of all partners and using the "HEInnovate" resources to support sustainable innovation and entrepreneurship in the higher education sector in Europe. As a result, sustainable economic growth and competitiveness in the EU will be supported. (https:// eit-hei.eu/projects/interhei/

The InterHEI consortium consists of eight regular partners (leader Marmara University in Turkey, University of Warsaw in Poland, Lodz University of Technology in Poland, Loyola University in Spain, Institute for Food Technology in Serbia, Future Food Institute in Italy, Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey in Turkey, American Farm School Post-Secondary Education and Training Association in Greece) and four associated partners (Slovak Agricultural University in Nitra, Medical University of Lodz in Poland, University of Agriculture in Krakow in Poland and Bionanopark in Poland). The activities will be closely connected with the EIT Food Hub initiatives and coordinated by prof. Ing. Adriana Kolesárová, PhD., vice dean of FBFS.

The EIT HEI initiative is a key objective for the European Institute of Innovation and Technology as part of its new strategy. The initiative aims to support universities with professional training, coaching, access to the EIT innovation ecosystem, which is the largest in Europe, and funding that will allow them to develop innovation action plans that complement the needs of individual universities.
