The FBFS has set up the InUPS Podcast Studio. It will serve to popularize science and research

"The ambition of the study is to serve young generations of entrepreneurs and start-upists in the field of the food systems, including the production of healthy food produced with green technologies and with a minimal carbon emission," said the Dean prof. Norbert Lukáč. The studio opens the door for every creative university employee who will be interested in popularizing their scientific research activities. He highly appreciated the activity of the project team led by prof. Adriana Kolesárová, who realized the idea of creating a modern podcast studio.

The initiators of the idea were FBFS doctoral students - Ing. Michal Mihaľ and Ing. Nikoleta Šimonová.

"We started playing with the idea of creating a podcast studio two years ago, when we all switched to online teaching due to the pandemic. Our goal is for people to discover scientists and be interested in education. We will offer educational content, conduct inspiring interviews with experts, "said the young initiators. They added that the advantage of the podcast is the ability to listen to it anytime and anywhere, it is also a good companion for leisure activities.

The SUA Rector Klaudia Halászová wished the newly created premises to be a platform for attractiveness, popularization of science, presentation of research and connection with practice, education of students and the general public, a place to open new current topics to support innovation potential in agri-food, agriculture. As she said, the studio also fits into a broader concept - building an Innovation Center at the SUA in Nitra.

The project is supported by the Ministry of Investment, Regional Development and Informatics of the Slovak Republic through a grant to support innovative projects in the Slovak Republic in the field of experimental development and innovation applicable in practice (SRIN 6/2021).
