The knowledge of future students of hipology was tested at the Equestrian Center

One of the study programs of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Food Resources, focused on the study of biological and physiological aspects of horse breeding, is the bachelor's study program in hippology. Students have the opportunity to gain knowledge about genetic aspects of breeding, hygiene, training and use, nutrition and feeding of horses. As part of their leisure activities, they can ride in the Equestrian Center, take basic training exams and take part in organizing breeding and sporting events.

The great interest in the study of hippology is also evidenced by the number of applicants who met at the entrance exams on June 7 and 8 under significant anti-pandemic measures. The admission procedure consisted of a check of theoretical knowledge in the form of a written test and a practical exam carried out at the Equestrian Center of the Department of Special Zootechnics.
