The Slovak Agricultural University in Nitra is committed to fully implementing the EU recommendations on open, transparent, and merit-based recruitment procedures for researchers (OTM-R) in conjunction with the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers in the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers ( HRS4R).
Ensuring that the best person is recruited for the job (while respecting the principles of open, transparent, and merit-based recruitment of researchers) increases the effectiveness of national research systems, guarantees equality, especially for underrepresented groups, and promotes transnational and international cooperation. This in turn supports the optimal circulation of scientific knowledge.
Not only do individual researchers, employers, and funding bodies benefit from OTM-R, but ultimately the entire European Research Area (ERA) benefits from OTM-R.
