The Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (SUA in Nitra) confirmed its leading position among Slovak universities in the field of environmental sustainability also in 2025. In the latest UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2025, SUA in Nitra ranked 174th out of 1,745 participating universities, reaffirming its strategic commitment to sustainable development and its active approach to addressing contemporary environmental challenges.

A meeting between representatives of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris and the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (SUA) took place on 3 December at the AgroBioTech Research Centre of SUA.
