Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra has completed a major renovation of its University Sports Centre as part of the AgroForestry project. The upgraded facilities were recently presented to staff and students, with the official opening scheduled for May.
Doc. Klaudia Halászová has been re-elected as Rector of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra for the 2026–2030 term. In the first round of rectorial elections held on 25 March, she stood as the sole candidate and received all 40 valid votes cast by members of the Academic Senate and the Board of Trustees.
Student Point, located under the Aula of the Slovak University of Agriculture (SUA), is the first contact point for SUA students. It brings together study and social counselling, career support, provides information for international students, and offers guidance on mobility opportunities — all in one place.
From January 27–29, 2026, an important international event, The 1st Global Forum for One Health & Food Innovation: 11th CK Biannual & 8th Joint Lab Working Conference, was held in Tai’an City (Shandong Province, China).
One of the key objectives of the INVEST project is to connect universities with regional stakeholders, public institutions, cultural organizations, the business sector, and the community to support the sustainable development of regions in a broader social, cultural, and creative context. In this spirit, Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (SUA) is establishing cooperation with the prestigious International Theatre festival Divadelná Nitra.
