Rector Prof. Peter Bielik and Prof. Štefan Mihina awarded by the Award of the Minister. SUA awarded by the Golden Sickle Award.

On August 20, 2015, the first day of 42nd International Agricultural and Food Exhibition Agrokomplex 2015, a traditional festive evening party took place. The important personalities, who had contributed to the development of agriculture, received the awards from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. The specialists from our university were also among them.

Our university did not miss Agrokomplex 2015

On Thursday 20, 2015 the 42nd season of the International Agriculture and Food Exhibition Agrokomplex 2015 was opened and Ľubomír Jahnátek, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, took the patronage over it. Traditionally, our university did not miss it.

Chinese-Slovak Summer School opened at FEM

Faculty of Economics and Management under the auspices of the SUA in collaboration with Tianjin University in China organizes the first year of the Summer School (SS) of Chinese Studies & Agribusiness - European Studies & Agribusiness for the students of both universities. The Summer School will be attended by the students from Tianjin University since 12th until 25th of July. On 13th of July at the opening ceremony they were welcomed by the Rector of the SUA Dr.h.c prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD.

The representatives of leading Ukrainian university interested in active cooperation

To seek new opportunities for a cooperation, to obtain the current information about educational and research activities of the SUA and also to introduce the new trends to their university were the main purposes of the visit of the five-member delegation from the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences (NULES) in Kiev, Ukraine, led by Rector prof. Stanislav Nikolayenko M., held on June 30.

Leading American experts will share their experiences with food incubator

Experienced professionals from LSU – Vice-Rector John Russin and the Director of food incubator (LSU AgCenter Food Incubator) M. Gaye Sandoz have been visiting   SUA since June 24. On the first day of their stay, they were accompanied by authorized director of Research Center AgroBioTech doc. Ing. Tatiana Bojňanská, CSc., and they were welcomed by the Rector of  SUA  Dr.h.c. prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD.
