Prof. Peter Bielik reelected as SUA Rector

Rector of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, Dr.h.c. prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD., remains  at the forefront of the university following the decision of the Academic Senate taken during the meeting on February 19.

Cooperation agreement between the Confucius Institute and SUA signed

SUA and  Confucius Institute (CI) in Bratislava concluded a cooperation agreement on 10 February in Nitra signed by the SUA rector Prof. Peter Bielik, and the  CI Director Peter Paulen.

Representatives of Vinnytsia National Agrarian University, Ukraine at SUA

A delegation from Vinnytsia National Agrarian University led by the Rector prof. G.M. Kaletnik visited the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra on December 6. The special guest and his colleagues prof. Olena Prutska, Head of the Department of Finance and  the Academician Nikolai Roiyk from the Institute of Bioenergy Crops and Sugar beets were welcomed  by the Rector Dr.hc prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD.

SUA signed a memorandum with biofuel producers

SUA Rector, Prof. Peter Bielik and the representative of biofuel producers  and the Association for the production and use of biofuels Ing. Róbert Spišák, signed the Memorandum of Understanding that is to support the cooperation within the projects related to agrobiology, bioenergy, biotechnology and advanced technologies in the agriculture and food production. The Memorandum was signed in Bratislava on November 28.

Representatives of Armenia at SUA

Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra was visited by the delegation of the Republic of Armenia on December 4. The delegation was led by the Minister of Education and Science of the Armenian Republic Mr. Armen Ashotyan who was accompanied by the Rector of Armenian State Agrarian University Prof. Arshalyus Tarverdyan and the Head of Public Relation and Information Department Mr. Artur Baghdasaryan.
