Symbolically marking the beginning of the Week of Science and Technology in Slovakia, the AgroBioTech Research Centre (ABT RC) of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra celebrated its 10th anniversary on 10 November. Over the past decade, the centre has successfully implemented numerous projects and achieved remarkable results both nationally and internationally.

The Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra hosted a group of thirteen teachers from ten Central Asian universities from 3 to 6 November. In the premises of the Environmental Centre of SUA on Hospodárska Street, the participants learned how to integrate sustainability into their courses and study programmes.

A pilot testing of study modules within the international project Open Food Innovation University – OFINU took place at the Samarkand University of Agrotechnologies and Research (SAMARU) in Uzbekistan from October 6 to 12.

As many as 91.39% of graduates of the Master’s study at the Slovak University of Agriculture in the academic year 2023/2024 are currently employed. This follows from a questionnaire survey among graduates. About one fifth of them found employment already during their studies.
