On 16 October, the Laboratory of Consumer Studies was officially opened at Faculty of Economics and Management. Creation of this laboratory is a part of the four-year project which aim is to forward the education and research in Slovakia in the area of business, marketing, management and economics with the use of the latest technologies.

In October, a month of respect for the elderly, there is a regular meeting with former employees of SUA in Nitra, which is organized by the University Trade under the auspices of faculties. This year, the meeting was held on 17 October at the Congress Center of ŠD A. Bernoláka.

The Faculty of European Studies and Regional Development of the SUA in Nitra welcomed colleagues from the West Attica University (WAU) Greece, on September 25.

The 15th World Congress of Agricultural Law UMAU (Unione Mondiale degli Agraristi Universitari) took place at the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznan (Poland) between 18th and 22nd September 2018.

The meeting organized at  the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences and Environmental Management, University of Debrecen, Hungary was attended by almost 40 representatives of VUA member universities and institutions.
