Research.com recently ranked Professor Marián Brestič and Associate Professor Marek Živčák from the Institute of Plant and Environmental Sciences at the Faculty of Agrobiology and Food Resources of Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra among the leading scientists in Plant Science and Agronomy. The Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (SUA) is strengthening its cooperation with the Supreme Audit Office of the Slovak Republic (SAO SR), building on their long-standing partnership. The collaboration was formalized on 22 April through a memorandum signed by SUA Rector Klaudia Halászová and SAO SR President Ľubomír Andrassy.

The Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (SUA) has once again achieved success in an international university ranking. In the latest QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026, it was placed in the 101–150 range in the Agriculture and Forestry category.

A representative of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra Hana Zach participated in the European University Association (EUA) Annual Conference held on 16–17 April 2026 in Istanbul, Turkey. The prestigious event brought together academic leaders from more than 40 countries and opened discussions on how universities respond to a changing global environment.
