SUA was presented at the 40th Agrocomplex

The Slovak University of Agriculture could not be absent at the 40th  International Agricultural and Food Exhibition Agrocomplex in Nitra on August 22-25. Our university exposition, which was designed and produced by the Faculty of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering in collaboration with the SUA Botanical Gardens , Public Relations office  and Slovak Agricultural Library was frequently visited.

SUA was presented during a trade mission of Kenya in Slovakia

Based on the invitation of the Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and SARIO, SUA attended  the formal meeting with the  participants of the trade mission of Kenya in Slovakia on July 16, 2013.

EURUS AGRI 2013 Summer School underway

The Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra in cooperation with the members of Visegrad Unviersity Association organized the second International Visegrad Summer School The EURUS AGRI 2013.

Common research activities with Chinese partners discussed

A delegation from the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the National Centre for Modern Agricultural Science and Technology based in Beijing, led by its director, Prof. Hui-yi Cai visited the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra on June 26.

Meeting with JRC representatives

A meeting of  the representatives of the Joint Research Centre (JRC) (European Commission in Brussels), prof. Vladimír Šucha and Guy Van den Eede with experts from SUA, Constantine the Philosopher University and the Institute of Plant Genetics and Biotechnology SAS, participating in the project took place at SUA on June 17.
