The two-day ITAPA EXPO festival on September 9-10 showed the best innovations, inventions and technologies from Slovakia. The Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra also presented its stand at M.R. Štefánik Square near Eurovea in Bratislava.

Six university alliances, including the INVEST alliance of European universities, which is coordinated in Slovakia by the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, delivered a vision statement to the EU Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, Mariya Gabrielová, on September 6 in Salamanca, Spain. The goal is to support the Startup Village initiative.

The AgroBioTech Research Centre welcomed the participants of the fourth year of the popular summer school Viva la Science, intended for university students interested in biological and biotechnological sciences.

In this year's ranking of the prestigious Shanghai ranking of universities by field, which is a reflection of the scientific work of universities, the Slovak Agricultural University in Nitra was ranked for the first time.

The aim of the call is to support innovation at universities, connect higher education with practice and facilitate access to the EIT innovation ecosystem.
