The Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (SUA) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on 24 August to support the implementation of the new AgriWow project, launched by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic.
At the age of 82, Professor Edward Pierzgalski, a renowned expert in water management in rural and forest landscapes from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) and an honorary doctor of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (SUA), has passed away.
From the 2026/2027 academic year, the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (SUA) will offer a new joint Bachelor’s degree programme, Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Societies, developed within the INVEST European University Alliance.
The Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (SUA) and the University of Debrecen are expanding their nearly 50-year partnership. Traditionally focused on agricultural and food sciences, their cooperation will now also cover technical and economic fields.
