Doc. Ing. Klaudia Halászová, PhD., will again be the Rector of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra in the second term. She was appointed to the position on June 23, at the Presidential Palace in Bratislava, by the President of the Slovak Republic, Zuzana Čaputová. The SUA Academic Senate elected K. Halászová in a secret ballot on March 30, 2022.

On May 11-13, 2022, the Faculty of Economics and Management of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra hosted the traditional international scientific conference "International Scientific Days 2022: Efficient, Sustainable and Resilient Agriculture and Food Systems – The Interface of Science, Policy and Practice".

The InUPS Podcast Studio was opened on 11 May at the SUA AgroBioTech Research Center. It was established by the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences (FBFS)within the project Innovation Cluster to Support Sustainable Food Systems InUPS, as a modern platform for communication and information sharing, promotion, dissemination and popularization of the results of innovation projects.

Kristína Haršányová, a third-year student at the Faculty of Agrobiology and Food Resources, represented our university at the Slovak Academic Athletics Championships, which took place on May 8, 2022 at the Mladá garda athletic stadium in Bratislava.

Ukrainian students, university employees and their family members, to whom the university provided temporary accommodation in student dormitories, took part in work on beautifying the university campus.
