From the EIT Food RIS Fellowships online workshop

As part of the EIT Food Hub in Slovakia, an online workshop of EIT Food RIS Fellowships was held on May 27 under the auspices of the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra for registered students and graduates from Slovakia and the Czech Republic applying for internships in top European companies focused on the agro-sector and the food system.

One of the study programs of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Food Resources, focused on the study of biological and physiological aspects of horse breeding, is the bachelor's study program in hippology.

At the SUA in Nitra, the EIT Food RIS Consumer Engagement Labs project was again launched - Involving consumers in the development of a new product as an activity implemented by EIT Food, one of the largest and most effective food initiatives worldwide. 

Achieving sustainable food production is key to meeting the UN's sustainable development goals. As part of the Baltic University Program, an online student conference on Sustainable Food Production in Conditions of Climate Change is currently taking place, bringing together more than sixty participants from twelve countries around the world. The event takes place on the occasion of the spring presidency of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra and is organized by the SUA in cooperation with the University of Uppsalla in Sweden.

EIT Food RIS Consumer Engagement Labs is an activity implemented by EIT Food partners in 2019-2021 and coordinated by the University of Warsaw. This project involves the target group of consumers in pre-competitive physical or online meetings focused on joint creation, which are limited in time and focused on the development of new product concepts.
