In November, the first transnational online meeting of Erasmus + KA2 project partners took place. Strategic Partnerships European Dimensions of the Internationalization of Doctoral Studies in Biotechnology and Food - EuroDisBioFood III. university degree.

Prof. Guido Van Huylenbroeck, a long-term partner of our university at the University of Ghent in Belgium, was awarded by the European Association of Agricultural Economists (EAAE) on November 18, 2020. He received the award on the basis of a nomination from the Belgian Association of Agricultural Economics (BVLE) for his high level of professionalism in the field of agricultural economics and rural development, as well as for his research and educational contribution in this field at European level.

The Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra won a project called Creative Center of SUA. The total eligible expenditure should reach more than six million euros, the SUA will share the costs with five percent co-financing. As part of the new project, the university will build a creative center, which will focus primarily on three sectors of the creative industry - design, architecture, advertising and marketing.

On the occasion of the 17th Science and Technology Week in Slovakia, an online scientific conference of doctoral students of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Food Resources, the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Science and the Faculty of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering took place on 11 November. The event was supported by the deans of all three faculties: doc. Ing. Peter Ondrišík, PhD., prof. Ing. Norbert Lukáč, PhD. and prof. Ing. Dušan Igaz, PhD.

The SUA in Nitra will participate in the Science and Technology Week this year, too. This year, already the 17th year, which will take place from 9 to 15 November, will be different from previous years. For obvious reasons, the events will take place in a virtual space.
