During the pandemic crisis, the agri-food sector proved to be one of the most resilient. At the same time, the shock caused by the pandemic has accelerated the development of trends that have been visible in the sector before - digitization, more informed consumer choices and preference in choosing local products.

Under the auspices of the EIT Food Hub, an online workshop on Strengthening Knowledge Exchange and Interactive Innovation was held on Wednesday 25 November, led by Ing. Miroslav Záhradník, PhD., an expert from the National Agricultural and Food Center in Lužianky.

On November 25, 2020, the Faculty of Economics and Management organized its first open day this year. It took place at a time when in previous years the faculty was visited by dozens of students and teachers on the occasion of University Day.

 

The Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra was the organizer of the introductory online meeting of the partners of the European Universities project entitled INNOVATIONS of Regional Sustainability: European Universities Alliance - INVEST, no. 101004073, which took place on 23-25 ​​November.
