On the occasion of the 17th Science and Technology Week in Slovakia, an online scientific conference of doctoral students of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Food Resources, the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Science and the Faculty of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering took place on 11 November. The event was supported by the deans of all three faculties: doc. Ing. Peter Ondrišík, PhD., prof. Ing. Norbert Lukáč, PhD. and prof. Ing. Dušan Igaz, PhD.

The SUA in Nitra will participate in the Science and Technology Week this year, too. This year, already the 17th year, which will take place from 9 to 15 November, will be different from previous years. For obvious reasons, the events will take place in a virtual space.

The Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra is part of the V4 Green Universities project, which brings together green universities in the Visegrad region. Other members of the project are the University of Pécs (Hungary), the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague (Czech Republic), the University of Kragujevac (Serbia) and the Ukrainian National Forestry University.

The Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (SUA) is the owner of the patent Durable bread for special nutritional purposes and the method of its production, number 288733, granted by the Industrial Property Office of the Slovak Republic. The European patent concerns products intended for consumers whose digestive processes or metabolism are disrupted and require special foods.

The Faculty of Economics and Management at SUA in Nitra joined the ErasmusDays initiative on 16 October and prepared an online meeting and presentation entitled What can aroma marketing do? The event, intended not only for students and employees of SUA, but also for the general public, took place through the project Erasmus + KA2 Strategic Partnerships - Implementation of Consumer Neuroscience and Smart Research Solutions in Aromachology (NEUROSMARTOLOGY).
