The Zobor Folklore Ensemble, one of the oldest and most distinguished university folklore ensembles in Slovakia, celebrated the 70th anniversary of its founding on 27 June with a gala performance at the Andrej Bagar Theatre in Nitra. The evening featured the premiere of a new original production, The Musician's Ten Commandments (Desatoro muzikanta), created especially for the anniversary, while also paying tribute to the generations of performers who have shaped the ensemble's rich history.

Slovakia, Topoľčianky, and SUA in Nitra became the hosts of the INVEST summer school for one week. The school was entitled FUTOUR – Future of Sustainable Tourism and brought together students from six countries: Spain, France, Italy, Bulgaria, Finland, and Slovakia.

The Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (SUA) has reaffirmed its position among leading academic institutions. In the latest edition of the prestigious QS World University Rankings 2027, the university was placed in the 1201–1400 range worldwide and ranked among the top six universities in Slovakia.

Associate Professor Marcela Chreneková, Head of the Institute of Sustainable Regional and Local Development at the Faculty of European Studies and Regional Development of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (SUA), has been appointed to the Scientific Advisory Body (SAB) of the OECD Co-operative Research Programme (CRP) on Sustainable Agricultural and Food Systems.
