The CLAAS Foundation in Germany has been awarding prizes to young technical talents from international universities for more than twenty years. Its aim is to support the future development of agriculture and agricultural technology. The Faculty of Engineering of SUA in Nitra has also traditionally successfully participated in the event.

The wooden Rampolynå building in Partizánske is a significant success of our students of the Faculty of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering (FHLE) - Klaudia Dočekalová, a student of the 3rd year of the bachelor's degree in the study program Landscape and Garden Architecture and doctoral student Ing. Miroslav Čibik, working at the Department of Garden and Landscape Architecture.

Architecture Day is an important event that has a 10-year tradition in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. It is linked to World Architecture Day, which has been set for the first Monday in October since 1996 and coincides with World Human Settlements Day.

Due to the current situation in connection with the spread of COVID-19, the opening of the 36th Agrofilm International Film Festival took place on October 5 in a limited manner in the presence of selected guests. The rector of SUA in Nitra Klaudia Halászová also took. Much of the festival is moving to online space this year.

An online visit to the Nitra region took place on 23 and 24 September 2020 as part of the POWER4BIO project. The event provided participants with an opportunity to exchange knowledge, a space for dialogue and presented the state and development of the bioeconomy in Slovakia and the Nitra region.
