Students of the Faculty of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering were again among the finalists of the fourth year of the nationwide competition For Water, results of which were announced on 13 November in Bratislava.

The Erasmus Village event is a popular part of the University Days of Nitra event. This year, it was organized on  November 13. Foreign students studying at SUA and CPU within the Erasmus + programme, bilateral or other cooperation programmes were offered interesting first-hand information through exhibitions and presentations from their countries and universities.

There are new  laureates of the prestigious Science and Technology Award of the Slovak Republic. Among the awarded awards are two teachers from the Faculty of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra - prof. Ing. Miroslava Kačániová, PhD.,  and Ing. Attila Tóth, PhD.

On November7, the Scientific Conference of PhD students of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Food Resources,  Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences and  Faculty of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering of SUA in Nitra was organized under the auspices of the deans of the said faculties.

 

In October, the Slovak Agricultural Library at SUA in Nitra opened a new study room - this time virtual. The aim of the project is to test the students' interest in digital scripts and textbooks.
