On October 23, a delegation from Andalas University (AU) in Indonesia visited our university. Delegation, led by Rector Prof. Dr. Tafdil Husni, was welcomed by the SUA Vice-Rector for Strategic Development Doc. Ing. Drahoslav Lancaric, PhD.

The University Day of Career (Oct 15) also brought an interesting event - the so-called social HACKATHON. It was a competition in which five student teams were looking for a practical solution to the problem of how to reduce food waste in households in Slovakia.

The SUA's Career Day arose from the need to link study and practice as much as possible. The aim is to arrange a personal meeting for students - future graduates with company representatives, to provide them with work, internship, temporary work, practice or cooperation on bachelor and master theses. This year's event, organized by the Rectorate together with the faculties, took place on October 15  and brought new activities.

The memorandum, signed by Drahoslav Lančarič, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development, at the OECD headquarters in Paris on 2 October, provides a framework for short-term internships for students of master and doctoral studies at OECD professional directorates.

At the 35th Agrofilm 2019 International Film Festival, the best documentary filmmakers dedicated to agriculture, food and environmental quality were awarded. The authors of the awarded films received the awards on October 4 at a ceremony in the cinema hall of Mlyny Cinemas in Nitra.
