On the occasion of University Student Days of Nitra 2018, rector of the SPU assoc. prof. Klaudia Halászová appreciated the students who achieved excellent academic achievements, achievements in scientific work, sports or cultural activities and represented the Slovak Agricultural University in Nitra.

The Fountain in front of the District Court at Štúrova Street in Nitra was given a new face thanks to the successful project "Fountain of Nitra".

Green relaxation zones for students are a regular part of modern universities. They provide them with relaxation and comfort in nature. SUA in Nitra also decided to build such zone, and re-cultivated the area behind the Dormitory Akademická. The new Chill-out zone was officially opened on 15 November 2018 and it will serve students as well as to general public.

The staff of vivarium, that is the part of the SUA Botanical Garden, organize a successful workshop in collaboration with the Club of Turtle-Breeders . The third year was held on 10 November in the Botanical garden´s greenhouse teaching room.

On the occasion of the 15th year of Science and Technology Week in Slovakia, the Scientific Conference of PhD. Students of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Food Resources, and of the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences was held on 6th November at the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra.
