The Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra maintained its leading position among universities in Slovakia in the field of sustainability in 2024. At the same time, it achieved a significant shift in the global ranking, where it improved by up to 30 places.
As part of the meeting of the Steering Board of the OECD Agricultural Research Programme (CRP) in Paris, an Open Forum scientific conference was held at the beginning of December last year (December 3). The CRP member states chose Digital Innovations for Sustainable Agriculture as the topic.
Engineer Katarína Poláková from the Institute of Food Science at the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Science, Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, has been named the Student Personality of Slovakia for the academic year 2023/2024 in the category of Agriculture, Forestry, and Wood Industry.
