U.S. Ambassador Meets with Rectors of Nitra Universities

On the occasion of the concert of Young Naperville Singers from partner city Naperville, which was held in Nitra Synagogue on 21 July, U.S. Ambassador to Slovakia Adam Sterling visited Nitra and met with Rectors of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra and Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra - Dr. h. c. prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD, and prof. RNDr. Ľubomír Zelenický, CSc.

SUA in Nitra Brings Together Experts on Nutrition, Food Quality and Consumer Health Issues

AgroBioTech Research Centre of SUA in Nitra held a meeting titled Towards Food, Nutrition and Health Research Infrastructure under the auspices of the Rector of SUA Dr.h.c. prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD. The meeting was co-organized with Wageningen University (Netherlands) and Quadram Institute Bioscence (Great Britain).

Rector of SUA Meets with Rector of Jordanian University

On 11 July, the Rector of SUA Dr.h.c. prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD. met with Prof. Mashhoor Al-Refai, Rector of Princess Sumaya University of Technology, Jordan, and the main coordinator of the international project RISE „Modernising Human Resource Management in South Mediterranean Higher Education (Erasmus+ Capacity Building) Prof. Walid Salameh. The guests were accompanied by the Dean of the SUA Faculty of Economics and Management prof. Dr. Ing. Elena Horská acting as a local project coordinator.

SUA Experts at World Exhibition EXPO 2017

On 19–23 June, the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic realized a common research and entrepreneurship journey to world exhibition EXPO 2017 in Astana, Kazakhstan. The Slovak Republic had its own pavilion in the exhibition and SUA was a part of it.

MBA Green Week in Podkylava

Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra organized an international event called Green Week for MBA AGRIMBA students. The professional part of the event was managed by Professor Bruce Ahrendsen from University of Arkansas, USA.
