"Golden" Volleyball Players Meet Rector of SUA

On 5 May, Rector Dr.h.c. prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD., met the team and players of volleyball club VKP Bystrina SUA in Nitra, who defended title of Slovak Champions. 

Photography Exhibition Chinese Story – Chinese Tibet Opened to Show Real Stories

Within the programme of this year´s Nitra University Days, SUA in Nitra ceremonially opened photography exhibition Chinese Story – Chinese Tibet in its foyer under the Auditorium on 25 April. The event was organized by Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, Embassy of the People´s Republic of China in the Slovak Republic and Confucius Institute in Bratislava.

LSU Golden Medal for Prof. Peter Bielik

SUA Rector and VUA President Prof. Peter Bielik has been awarded the LSU Golden Medal during the symposium titled: Agricultural Universities in the 21st Century: Importance of Technology and Information Transfer for Program Sustainability currently taking place at Louisiana State University, USA.

Serbian Representatives at SUA

On March 31, 2017, a delegation from the Republic of Serbia visited the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra. SUA Rector Dr.h.c. prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD., received  the Director of the Aricultural College of Vocational Studies prof. Dr. Radenko Stepič and a professor at the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Novi Sad prof. Dr. Ján Kišgeci.
