Faculty of European Studies and Regional Development has celebrated 10th anniversary

Faculty of European Studies and Regional Development, which is also the only one of its kind in Slovakia, has celebrated these days the decade of its existence as the youngest and the smallest faculty of SUA in Nitra. It was established on the basis of proposal of the management of SUA with the approval of Academic Senate of SUA in Nitra and consequently with the approval of the Ministry of Education and Accreditation Committee which entered into force on April 1, 2004.

Ukrainian experts propose active cooperation with SUA

On 14th of November Technical Faculty (TF) of SUA  was visited by the academician Prof. RNDr. Valerij Vasiljevic Adamchuk, the director of National Scientific Centre “Institute of Mechanization and  Electrification of Agriculture” of the NAAS and academician Prof. RNDr. Vladimir Bulgakov from the National University of Agriculture in Kiev. Distinguished guests accompanied by doc. Ing. Pavol Findura, PhD. the Head of Department of Machinery and Production Systems were welcomed by the Rector Dr.h.c. Prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD.

From the visit of H.E. Brazilian Ambassador Susan Kleebank

Rector of SUA Dr.h.c. Prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD., welcomed H.E the Ambassador of Brazil to the SR, Susan Kleebank to SUA in Nitra on November 4.

The Indian Ambassador has visited SUA in Nitra

On 10th of November, H.E. Param Jit Mann, the Ambassador of India to the SR, visited SUA in Nitra. The precious guest accompanied by the member of the Embassy of India Jana Vančová were welcomed by the Rector of SUA Dr.h.c. Prof. Peter Bielik, Phd. and by the Head of Foreign Relations and International Projects Office, Mgr. Vladislav Valach.

SUA awarded Honorary Degree to Prof. Walter F. Leal and Prof. Edward Pierzgalski

On November 4, 2014 at the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra the formal meeting of the Scientific Council of SUA, extended by the assembly of Scientific Council of the Faculty of European Studies and Regional Development, took place. The Rector of the University, Dr. h.c. Prof. Peter Bielik awarded the honorary degree "Doctor honoris causa" to internationally recognized scientific and pedagogic personalities - Prof. Dr. habil. Walter F. Leal and to Prof. Dr. habil Edward Pierzgalski.
