Meeting with representatives of Tianjin University has brought new impulses for a cooperation

On December 12, 2014, SUA in Nitra was visited by the representatives of Tianjin University (TU) in China - Li Qingfeng from the School of International Education and Yang Fuling – the director of the Department for International Cooperation of TJU, led by prof. Hu Wenping, the Assistant President of the University and the Dean of the School of Science.  The management of SUA together with the Rector  Dr.h.c. prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD welcomed our Chinese partners.

Prof. Ján Tomáš will lead the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences in the next term of office

The election of the Dean of the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences was held on December 10, 2014. At the meeting of the Academic Senate of FBFS was unanimously voted as a candidate for the Dean of the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences of SUA in Nitra for term of office 2015 – 2019 prof. Ing. Ján Tomáš, CSc.

Brazilian experts are interested in cooperation with SUA

On December 9, the representatives of  the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco in Brazil -prof. Leucio Alves a prof. Anísio Soares visited SUA in Nitra. Honourable guests were welcomed by Rector of SUA Dr.h.c. prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD., Vice-rector for Education and ECTS prof. RNDr. Zdenka Gálová, CSc., Vice-rector for Science and Research prof. Ing. Ján Gaduš, PhD., and the Head of Foreign Relations and International Projects Office, Mgr. Vladislav Valach.

ARRA evaluation results

Academic Ranking and Rating Agency (ARRA) submitted already the tenth evaluation of faculties of Slovak universities in November. It was based on publicly available and verifiable data about the quality of education and research of particular faculties for the year 2013.

An important step towards deepening of the Slovak-Chinese cooperation

On Thursday of November 4, 2014 SUA in Nitra was visited by the delegation consisting of the representatives of Slovak – Chinese Chamber of Commerce (SSCC) and the representatives of Chinese province Jiangsu. The distinguished guests were welcomed at SUA by the Rector, Dr.h.c. prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD.
