World Esperanto Congress in Nitra Welcomed Participants from 60 Countries

The premises of the Slovak University of Agriculture and the streets of Nitra are hosting the 101st World Esperanto Congress from 24 to 30 July. Organizers have welcomed more than 1 300 visitors.

Successful Summer School organized by VUA

The International Summer School organized by Visegrad University Association  titled  FOOD SCIENCE AND BUSINESS STUDIES: Traditions meet novelties was organized in the period of 27.6. – 9.7. 2016 by the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra and Szent István University Godollo.

Rector Received Korean Universities’ Representatives

On July 12, SUA Rector Dr.h.c. prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD. received six representatives of Korea University, Seoul National University and Chungbuk National University. The meeting was also attended by the FESRD Vice-Dean for International Affairs prof. JUDr. Anna Bandlerová, PhD. and the Head of the FESRD Centre of International Programmes doc. Ing. Loreta Schwarczová, PhD.

Minister of Agriculture Gabriela Matečná visited her alma mater

On June 20, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Gabriela Matečná visited the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra - her alma mater.

Rector represented SUA at international exposition EDU EXPO in China

On June 7-14, 2016, Rector of the SUA, Dr.h.c. prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD., attended a conference aimed at cooperation of China and Central and Eastern European countries in the field of educational and academic cooperation. The Conference took place in Chinese Ningbo.
