Indian delegation discussed cooperation possibilities

On November 5, a delegation from India led by Dr. Mukul Sangma, the Chief Minister of the Meghalaya State visited our university. Being located in the north-eastern part of the country, Meghalaya´s economy is mainly oriented on agriculture.

SUA in Nitra was granted another 7.FP EU project

On 23rd and 24th October 2013, two-member delegation, led by the rector Dr.hc prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD. attended the opening “Kick off” meeting to 7. FP „NoGAP“ - Knowledge Transfer Community to bridge the gap between research, innovation and business creation.

First Visegrad scientific doctoral symposium: Multifunctionality and Regional Development

First Visegrad scientific doctoral symposium titled Multifunctionality and Regional Development took place at St. Istvan University Godollo, Hungary on October 3-5, 2013. The event was organized as a part of the International Visegrad Fund strategic project no. IVF 3111007 “Sustainability in Agrisector of V4 Countries and Cooperating Regions“.

Meeting with representatives of Canadian universities

The Slovak University of Agriculture organized a meeting of the university’s management representatives, lead by SUA rector, Dr.h.c. prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD., and representatives of Canadian universities – vice-president Harley L.D´Entremont and director of International initiatives Karen Strang from Nipissing university, as well as  with president Lian Roy and International Development officer Jocelyne Landry from Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick.
