The representatives of leading Ukrainian university interested in active cooperation

To seek new opportunities for a cooperation, to obtain the current information about educational and research activities of the SUA and also to introduce the new trends to their university were the main purposes of the visit of the five-member delegation from the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences (NULES) in Kiev, Ukraine, led by Rector prof. Stanislav Nikolayenko M., held on June 30.

Leading American experts will share their experiences with food incubator

Experienced professionals from LSU – Vice-Rector John Russin and the Director of food incubator (LSU AgCenter Food Incubator) M. Gaye Sandoz have been visiting   SUA since June 24. On the first day of their stay, they were accompanied by authorized director of Research Center AgroBioTech doc. Ing. Tatiana Bojňanská, CSc., and they were welcomed by the Rector of  SUA  Dr.h.c. prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD.

New Chair of AGRIMBA Executive Board is Prof. Peter Bielik

Prof. Peter Bielik was elected the Chair of the AGRIMBA Executive Board during the Board meeting that took place as a part of the AGRIMBA AVA 2015 Congress in Porec, Croatia on June 17-20, 2015. Prof. Bielik will lead the newly elected Executive Board of the network. The AGRIMBA secretariat will be seated at Wagening University and managed by the Secretary General Prof. Wim Heijman of Wageningen.

Students from Louisiana received certificates for successful completion of study stay at SUA

Five American students from Louisiana State University, led by prof. Dr. J.C. Bunch, the coordinator of agricultural education programmes, participated in the study stay entitled EU – Social and Economic Perspective at SUA on June 5-14. On June 12, after their presentations and they received their certificates from Dr.h.c Prof. Peter Bielik, PhD.

Perspective cooperation with Latvian University of Agriculture

The main aim of the visit of three-member delegation from the Latvian University of Agriculture (LPU) led by the Rector, Prof. Irina Pilvere, was to discuss and outline the new possibilities for bilateral cooperation between the Latvian University of Agriculture and Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra.
