The visit of new Indonesian Ambassador to SUA

The new Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Slovakia H.E.Djumantoro Purwokoputro Purba accompanied by the embassy secretary Meylia Wulandari visited the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra during the first official visit on February 7, 2013. The special guest at our alma mater was welcomed by the Rector,  Prof.Peter Bielik, Vice-rectors and Deans. The talks  evaluated our cooperation and offered ideas for future academic and scientific common activities.  • photo •

Changing Value Preferences - Exhibition of Photographs

University of Debrecen – Centre for Agricultural and Economic Sciences, Mendel University in Brno, Czech  University of Life Sciences in Prague, Agricultural University in Bydgoszcz and the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra prepared an interesting travelling exhibition of photographs with the support of the International Visegrad Fund  titled : Changing Value Preferences  .

6th Academic Ball of Nitra Universities

The 6th Academic Ball of Nitra Universities took place in the Nitra Park of Culture on Saturday, January 19, 2013. The popular cultural event was opened by the Rector of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, Dr. h. c. prof. Ing. VraK(ing) successful again

An outdoor installation of a historic tractor Zetor 25 in the SUA campus  was created in September 2012 as part of a student project VraK (ing), supported by the grant programme of Telefónica O2 Think Big, Orange, Nitra Community Foundation and sponsors. The project aimed to revitalize and restore the park, and to invite students to spend more time outdoors in the university campus. Telefónica made a video about the event.
