The Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (SUA) has become one of the founding partner institutions of the newly established International Joint Research Group on Agri-Food Law and Food Systems (ALFS), officially approved by Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). The prestigious international research platform aims to foster long-term cooperation in the fields of agri-food law, food systems, sustainability and food policy.

The Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (SUA) has received the prestigious “Seal of Recognition for the FAO AGRIS Active Data Provider of the Year 2027” from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

Hosted in Thessaloniki (Greece) by the University of Thessaly, the summer school brought during June, 9 – July, 3, 2026 together students from seven countries: Spain, Greece, France, Italy, Bulgaria, Finland, and Slovakia within the INVEST – European University Alliance. SUA in Nitra (Slovak University of Agriculture) was represented by four students, two from FBP SUA and two from FEM SUA in Nitra.
