Career Days

The Career Days at SUA in Nitra originated from the need to connect study and practice more closely. Its goal is to provide contact between students and graduates with employers and offer them job opportunities, internships, practice, and other opportunities for collaboration with the application sphere.

This year, Career Day was held on 20 November, and was organized by the Rector's Office together with the faculties, and was chaired by the mandated Vice-Rector for Foreign Relations and Public Affairs, Ing. Ivan Takáč, PhD. As he said, every student sooner or later will enter the labor market and need a good employer. "It's in his/her interest to get good advice in the university environment and what's more, personal contacts."

In the presentation stands, students were able to get information from representatives of 28 companies: AGRI CS Slovakia, AGRION - Association of Agriculture Technology Suppliers in SR, AGRO CS Slovakia, AGROCONTRACT Mikuláš, AGROTEC Slovakia, Danubius Fruct, Emilove sady - OVD Dvory nad Žitavou, Heineken Slovakia, Kaufland SR, KomAgrartechnik, LEDVANCE, MAHLE Behr Senica, Muehlbauer Technologies, ORIFLAME SLOVAKIA, Partners Group SK, Plantex, Veselé pri Piešťanoch, PONK (PONK Coworking), Prvá stavebná sporiteľňa, Regional Agricultural and Food Chamber Trnava, Samsung Electronics Slovakia, Slovenská sporiteľňa, Slovenské farmárske, cooperative VITA-ZEL & COMPANY,  Zeleninárska, Cooperative of growers, ZF Slovakia, ZKW Slovakia.

Participating companies prepared presentations and lectures at individual faculties of the SUA in Nitra and also thematic workshops for students.

 

Nestlé Day

Faculty of Economics and Management (Department of Management), organized another event as a part of Career Day, called Nestlé day. It was its first year and NESTLÉ was represented by five top managers in corporate communications, human resources and business. The three trainees at Nestlé stand were presenting the company, its activities and products, as well as opportunities for our students or graduates to build their careers.
