FESRD prepared a series of career workshops for high school students

by

Interactive meetings with high school students are led by experienced human resources expert and management talent Ľubomír Dranga together with one guest teacher from FESRD. Five pedagogues of the faculty participated in the previous March and April events.

"Our goal is to provide graduating students with the key skills necessary for a successful start to their careers or university studies at our faculty," said assoc.prof. Ivan Takáč from the Institute of European Policies and Public Administration of FESRD. The uniqueness of the workshops lies in the fact that they provide practical advice that gives graduates a competitive advantage when deciding whether to study at university, start a business or get a job. "Students will learn how to convincingly write a resume and cover letter, get acquainted with an effective technique for successfully handling interviews and a strategy for building a career through study. During the presentation, they can personally ask about the information they are interested in. Our teachers thus share their experience in the academic, state or private sector with future graduates," added I. Takáč.

Currently, career workshops under the direction of FESRD will also be held on April 29 at the Vráble Gymnasium and on April 30 at the Levice Business Academy.
