INVEST Winter School: An Introduction to Nature-Inclusive Agriculture

This INVEST Winter School is attended by students from partner universities, including students from the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra.
On the first day of the INVEST Winter School, our students gave a presentation focused on examples of inclusive agriculture in the conditions of Slovakia "Nature Inclusive Agriculture in Slovakia". Subsequently, together with other participating students, they compared the presented information within the participating countries. In the evening, a "Cultural Event" was held, where our students successfully presented Slovakia, our culture, customs, habits and also the tastes of Slovakia, as part of the presentation was also a tasting of typical Slovak products such as sweets, drinks, as well as other typical products that characterize our the country.
Students verified their acquired knowledge also practically. On the second day of the INVEST Winter School, the participants had the opportunity to visit 2 ecological farms, whose owners try to apply the principles of "Nature Inclusive Agriculture" in their agricultural activities on the farms. During this field trip, they had the opportunity to have a discussion with farmers regarding their business conditions, innovative practices, visions, etc.
