Meeting of Seniors
In October, a month of respect for the elderly, there is a regular meeting with former employees of SUA in Nitra, which is organized by the University Trade under the auspices of faculties. This year, the meeting was held on 17 October at the Congress Center of ŠD A. Bernoláka.
The meeting moderated by assoc. prof. Mgr. Želmíra Balážová, PhD. was opened by the mandated Vice-Rector for International and Public Relations, Ing. Ivan Takáč, PhD., and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, prof. Roman Gálik, who wished the audience a lot of health, happiness and well-being in the circle of their loved ones.
In the next part of the programme, the chairperson of UO OZ PŠaV at SUA in Nitra, assoc. prof. Zuzana Hlaváčová, informed about the most important events at the university in the last academic year, which was marked by the 65th anniversary of SUA in Nitra. She described university's educational activities, briefly informed about the projects, publications and investment plans in 2017. In the second part of her speech, she introduced the activities of the UO and the events that the individual commissions prepared for SUA employees and thanked the seniors for their contribution to the development of the university.
We wish our seniors a lot of health and we look forward to the next meeting.
