Our Daily Bread

During the “Week of Science and Technology“ organized by Faculty of Agrobiology and Food Resources and the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Science, the accompanying event “Our Daily Bread” took place on November 7. The event was also held on the occasion of International Bread Day that is on 16 October.

In the main hall of SUA in Nitra were presented bakery products prepared at the Department of Storing and Processing Plant Products, various kinds of bread from domestic production of SUA students and employees as well as sponsor products from Penam, Bakery Kočkovce and Bakery Sztiszkala B&N. Visitors had the opportunity to taste different kinds of bread, salty and sweet pastries. The greatest interest was in sourdough bread, which is increasingly demanding..
